Guide scientific quality
Your starting role reflects your experience. Authoring and review are separate qualification tracks. Advancement considers accuracy, reproducibility, feedback, and breadth of work; completing more tasks alone does not guarantee promotion.
HOW IT WORKS
A simple start. A thoughtful match.
We’re building a network of scientific experts. Tell us what you know and the work you want to do.
Share your background, preferred task types, and availability. The interest form takes around two minutes.
02
Show us how you think.
When there’s a potential fit, we may invite you to an interview and task-specific assessment. The requirements are shared in advance.
03
Choose work with clear expectations.
Review the task scope, fee, estimated time, and review criteria before agreeing to an assignment.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Good questions. Clear answers.
How does compensation work?
The hourly ranges are estimates to help you compare task types. Contributors are generally paid per task or per project. The exact fee, scope, deliverables, deadline, and revision allowance are agreed before you accept an assignment. Effective hourly earnings depend on the agreed fee and time required.
Do I need a PhD or previous AI experience?
A relevant degree or strong practical experience can both be valuable. We look for scientific judgment, clear communication, and evidence of the skills needed for a particular task. Some specialist and review roles will require advanced qualifications. Prior AI training experience is not required for every task.
Can I qualify for advanced roles right away?
Yes. Relevant experience may qualify you for specialist, author, or reviewer assessments from the outset. As you contribute, the quality, consistency, and breadth of your work can support access to more complex tasks and higher task fees. Task count alone does not determine advancement.
May I use AI tools while completing tasks?
The task brief will explain which tools are permitted and what you need to disclose. When AI assistance is allowed, you remain responsible for verifying the scientific claims, code, sources, and conclusions in your submission.
Does signing up guarantee work?
Registration records your interest in the network. It does not guarantee acceptance, an assignment, a minimum number of hours, or any earnings. We will contact you when an opportunity appears to match your expertise and project eligibility.
What happens after I register?
If a suitable opportunity opens, we may invite you to a short interview and role-specific assessment. We will explain its scope and any assessment compensation in advance. Project work begins only after the relevant qualifications and agreement are in place.
